Hi, I’m Gina Crane. I love running!
Running gives me headspace, gets me outside, shows me the seasons passing and the phases of the moon, introduces me to new places, gets me where I want to go, makes me friends, makes me strong, shows me what I’m capable of, helps me believe in myself.
I’m a menopausal 48 year old woman living in Peterborough, England. I’m a member of Yaxley Runners & Joggers. Yes, joggers.

I rarely race now, but I used to be quick. Some ancient (pre-super shoes) personal bests I’m still dining out on:
- Marathon: 3 hours, 18 minutes, 3 seconds (2016, London marathon)
- Half-marathon: 1 hour, 32 minutes, 52 seconds (2016, Great Eastern Run)
- 10k: 41 minutes, 38 seconds (2019, Langtoft road race)
- 5k: 19 minutes, 54 seconds (2019, Grand Prix summer series, Ferry Meadows)
But, remember: personal bests are temporary, running is forever.
